Alabama the best band ever !

Back in the 70's there was a band that played the local bars here in Rantoul Illinois called "Wild Country". I never got to see them, but heard they were very good. They later became a band called "ALABAMA".

I saw them in the 1980’s at Camp Lejeune North Carolina

I had a ticket to go to June Jam back around 85 and we were working a lot of overtime and the company made it mandatory for us to work that weekend. I was so upset and really hate that I missed out on the trip. I never got to see them. Love their music.

I was always really surprised by the fact that Ted Nugent was in this band and although he may have sang lead on some songs, he was definitely in the backseat, so to speak - in other words, he had pretty much always been his own band leader. It just didn’t seem like something he would ever do.
